Marquette Council: “🎭The Mardi Gras Council🎭”

Who we are: Founded in 1909 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Located at 314 St. Charles Avenue. We meet @ 6pm on the 2nd Wednesday (Membership meeting), 5pm on the 3rd Friday (Catholic Happy Hour) and 6pm on the 4th Tuesday (Business meeting) of every month.

We posses a rich history supporting the Catholic Church, The Archdiocese of New Orleans, Catholic Charities, Catholic Families, The Jesuit Church of the Immaculate Conception, St. Patrick’s Church, Pro-life and many great charitable organizations.

Historically known as a Council of Prominent Professional Catholic Men from New Orleans, we have grown to have members from neighboring parishes and states as far away as California, Illinois and Virginia! Recently, we have experienced a great resurgence of members from Orleans Parish and will continue to foster that growth while welcoming all who seek to join our ranks!

What we do: We are a purpose driven Catholic Fraternity that supports charitable efforts. We are dedicated to supporting Pro-Life, Catholic Families, The Church, Our Priests and Seminarians! Throughout the year we host fun family events that raise money for charity! Mardi Gras is our, “Marquis” event as we are directly on the Parade route for almost all parades in Orleans Parish.
